Oh my...........

It is almost time for baby girl P to get here! We are so excited we can't stand it!! Everything seems to be falling into place.I have had the most amazing baby showers a girl could ask for. We were seriously spoiled more than I could have ever thought possible. This girl has so many amazing people already in here life. I will post more on my showers later!

Yesterday Hillary went to my Dr. appointment with me. When the doc told me I was dilated to a 1+ you would have thought she said I was at a nine! We were so excited! I can't begin to imagine the joy that we are going to feel when I am actually at a nine and she is really here in our arms!!! I can't wait to see Jordan with his daughter. Seriously, she is not even here yet and I can't imagine how life can get any sweeter!

I bought the outfit we are going to bring her home in, plus a few more....It's so, so hard to not want to buy EVERYTHING! I do need to buy a few more bows though!

We are excited to meet her and see who she looks like. Jordan said if she is like me she is come anytime and if she is like him I will have to be induced when my doc gets back from Mexico. Yes, she leaves for Mexico on my due date! Ha!!

Anyway, I fell pretty good still. Yeah, I am stating to waddle a bit when I get up from sitting down for a while, I'm a bit swollen and its hard to turn over in bed but that's all part of the fun, right? Seriously though, I really can't complain. Jordan is the BEST husband and literally waits on me hand & foot. I couldn't ask for a better husband.....really! He is AMAZING! He was gone all week @ Scout camp and I missed him terribly, no, not just because he picks up all my slack....I seriously missed him!!!

So, I have all these funny ideas in my head about how labor/life will/should go. I wanted to write them down so I don't forget:

  I have had in my head that since her due date is on Saturday August 6th it would be most convenient for her to come then. I could work the week and then go home Friday, take a long nap, wake up in the morning, shower and head to the hospital

  I have NO illusions that I will do this without an epidural...hello! NO THANK YOU! (although, to you women who are super human..more power to you)

  I think it would be fun to be hanging out at home when I go into labor and have to turn to Jordan and say...I think its time!

Those are a few of my crazy, totally delusional ideas! So funny! I can't wait to see how it really goes! Stay tuned!

I am so lucky and happy to get to stay home for 12 weeks with her. We are going to be doing a lot of cuddling, napping, playing dress-up, and just getting to know our new family member, taking her to Hawaii, St. George & Cali and much more!!

Baby Fun

Every night between 10-11 pm Jordan & I lay in bed and watch baby girl move all around. It is so fun! We like to tease her but last night it made us wonder if she is going to come out hating us!?! HA.

Anyways, usually we just put music on my belly and watch her squirm to it, sometimes we like to poke her and watch her move to the other side and then poke her again! Last night we tried something new. We put a flashlight on my belly and boy did she kick! It was hilarious and strong so naturally we did it again and so did she!

So every week it seems like I have a new symptom. Seriously it makes me feel crazy! But lately its been heart burn! Oh joy! Tums have seriously become my best friend. They go every where with me. They sleep next to me on my night stand so I can quickly reach over and grab them at 3:30 am. Seriously, I have never had heartburn before....I thought it was just for Dad's (because my dad always has had them) but now I know..... I also had NO idea that Tums would work so fast. It's simply amazing!

We are so excited to meet her!! Only 8 short weeks left!!!

30 Weeks

30 Weeks- May28th, 2011

I just took this picture on Saturday! I can't believe that I am 30 weeks and we only have 10 more weeks! Time is flying! We are getting more excited everyday! Especially with the arrival of my sister Stefanie's little Lucas on Saturday morning! I am so excited that she will have a cousin that is only 10 weeks older than her.

Some fun facts:

• I am feeling really good!



• Last night we were able to see my entire stomach move when baby girl was squirming. It was so cool!



• Baby girl P is really active in the morning & at night. We wonder if she will end up being like her parents and being a night owl?!??



• We went to the U2 concert last week and she rocked out in my belly the entire time. LOVED it
  


• I still don't have specific cravings, I am just hungry ALL THE TIME!!!



• We have our crib and stroller ready!



• I can't stop buying girl clothes



• Jordan is still the BEST husband and baby daddy I could have asked for!



• I/We are not at all nervous for labor! Actually we are just excited!



• I am having 2 baby showers in June! I am so excited!!!



• Life is good but we can tell it will even be better with our baby girl
  

First Time Parents.....Moment 1

We bought our stroller the other day because it was on sale plus I had gift cards. When we were at the store picking it out it was SO easy to fold up, take the car seat in and out etc. Well, when we got home it was a totally different story! Jordan and I tried for 20+ min to get the car seat out of the base! I wish I could have recorded it because we must have looked like complete morons! We finally found the BIG ORANGE release button and got the car seat out. Good times. After we put the stroller together we had fun walking it around our house (I know we are total dorks) I am sure that this is just the first of many, many more first time parent moments!

Moving......

Our baby girl is moving all around! Its so fun to feel her kick, punch, roll and feel whatever else she is doing in there. Jordan is finally able to feel her which is fun for me and him! The other night we turned on Pandora and put the I-phone up to my belly....she went crazy! Loved it! I can also poke where she has just kicked and she responds. Its so fun!

For the most part I am feel completly fine! I still have some random days here and there but I can't complain! I can still wear all of my clothes but can't button up the pants....awesome! Thank you Belly Band! But I am sure in a few weeks even my pants won't be comfy.

I can't wait to see what the next few weeks bring and how I change. We are flying to SC in a few weeks for my sisters wedding and hoping the plane ride is smooth because when I flew home from CA a few weeks ago the ride was very turbulant and made me pretty sick! I had to keep my head down for 2 hours and pray that I wouldn't throw-up on the plane! Luckily I made it!

It's been really fun buying baby girl clothes and other stuff! I can't help myself! There is just so many cute things out there!!!

It's a.............

I just laughed thru the entire ultra-sound. But we couldn't be more excited!!

When we got into the ultra-sound room we told the tech we were still unsure if we were going to find out. She said OK and started the scan well...........the first shot was of baby girl Peine's legs....Jordan looked at me and said there's nothing there....I said nope....the tech said no there's not.....we said it's a girl...the tech confirmed. It was actually really fun to find out. My mind has been going crazy with color schemes all day!

Baby girl was so cute covering her face with her one arm (she has two arms don't worry) the entire time. The tech & doc. had to make her move a few times because she was being so squirmy (no thanks to the orange juice & sip of diet coke I had before the ultra-sound. oops!)

We cannot wait until AUGUST! Yea for summer babies!

Crazy things happen when you are pregnant......

I went to my third drs. appointment today! I love those things because you get to hear the heart beat! It's just such a relief. I started feeling fluttering back on the 25th...love it! Its not constant and I have to being pretty still to feel it but its really fun. I can't wait for Jordan to be able to feel the baby move. The dr. said that I should really start feeling it in a few weeks!

I am definitely started to have more good days than bad days, but when a bad day hits I can't seem to remember the good day and vice versa! Good thing I have lots of amazing women in my life to tell me I completely normal when all these random things start happening to me! Like...when all of the sudden I have developed a gag reflex...and I gag on air.....AWESOME! There is just so much more but really, you don't want to read about it on here!

Next week is our big ultra-sound. I am excited to see the baby and make sure that baby P is healthy! I am also interested to see if we will find out or not! PINK or BLUE??? Today as we listened to the heart beat the doc said...I can tell you right now that its a girl......but then he said he always wrong half of the time! The heart rate was at 165. I know there are all those myth's about if the heartbeat is fast its a girl if its slow its a boy! I told Jordan that we are going to need pre-child counseling if it is a girl!! So much to look forward too!

As far as showing.....well I can definitely tell. We have been really bad about taking weekly photos....in fact, we haven't taken one! The good news is...I haven't gained any weight! Amazing because when I'm not pregnant I can snack on carrots and eat tofu and gain 5 lbs in a week! Maybe its because sweets really do make me sick....it must be true what they say don't eat sweets if you want to lose weight. I still want sweets however.....

I can't believe that I am almost halfway thru with this pregnancy! I can't wait to see what the next half holds.....or can I?!?!?

Feeling Much Better

It's like some switch was flipped at 14 weeks! I am feeling so much better! I have only had to take 2 pills this week....to me that is a victory!! I have to eat as soon as I feel hungry and that seems to help. We had our 2nd Dr's appt. on Friday. All is looking and sounding well. We are set to have our ultra-sound on March 17th. Now here is the million dollar question:

To find out or to not find out?!?!

I still hate onions and tomato's but am able to eat pretty much anything else. Except sweets. Here's hoping that the rest of the 25 weeks goes great!!!

And since it's Valentines Day I will give a shout out to my wonderful husband! Who literally will & does anything & everything for me! I love you baby daddy!!!

It's true! I finally have a good reason for not blogging for so long!! Baby Peine is on its way! And we couldn't be happier. Yesterday we got to see "it" moving all around. Yesterday was probably one of the greatest days ever!

Some fun facts so far:

• I am due August 6th
• We told our families on Christmas Eve- see photo of Jordan's family!
• I have been SO sick! At times I wondered how women EVER have more than one pregnancy!
• For the past 4-5 weeks I have lived off of Ensure (Awesome), white bread, and quesadillas! I HATE IT ALL NOW!
• My doctor put me on Zofran and it changed my life!
• I finally had some funeral potatoes today and HAD to go back for seconds (I was at a funeral- I asked my MIL if she would judge me..then I RAN back to the food table)!
• I can't stand the thought or sight of Onions, tomato's or garlic
• Sweets.....well I have pretty much cut those out of my life! (Not a bad thing)
• Jordan is the BEST husband EVER! He has probably gone to the store for me 1,000,000+ times :)
• I am SO grateful that my sister Hillary has been living with us....she has been a HUGE help
• We are 90% sure that we are NOT going to find out the sex of the baby
• My sister Stefanie is only 8 weeks ahead of me! I can't wait for Baby Peine to meet its cousins!!
• I just got called to be the Young Women's President in my ward. I totally tried to get out of it by playing the baby/sick card. It DID NOT WORK!! I love the girls!
• Life couldn't be any sweeter!
