Wow...I can't believe that it has been two months since I have posted. We have been on the go...surprise, surprise! I don't really know where to start. I had the chance to go skiing twice this year..I loved it! I can't believe that I have lived in Utah for 10 years & had never skied! Next year will be different.
Chris & Landon came up to Utah for a few days in Feb. We all went to the Aggies game, I couldn't help but spoil Landon. Landon & I walked into the gift shop & he said I want this & this & that.......I said OK!
Then I hitched a ride with Chris & Landon in the little S10 down to Cali & surprised my family for Avie's first birthday. It was a really fast trip but we packed a lot in & it was really fun.
Jordan's cousin Sarah is getting married & moved back to Utah a few weeks ago, so Jordan & I flew out to DC & then drove back with her. We were able to spend all day Sunday in DC then Monday & Tuesday in Virgina @ the Sarah's family's beautiful farm. While we were there we we went to Monticello (the home of Thomas Jefferson) we also stopped by my Aunt Jill's home on our way out of town. It was fun to see her, where she lives & the school all of her kids have attended. We had a great drive back. It really went fast. The first night we stopped in St. Louis, the second night we stopped in Denver & stayed with Joe then we were home. Kentucky was my favorite part of the drive. I loved all the green. I tried to talk Jordan into moving there but he was not having it!
We did make a stop in St. Louis @ this place called Maid-Rite. We saw this restaurant featured on the travel channel last year so we were so excited to find one. I am pretty embarrassed to say that we ate a lose meet sandwich (aka hamburger) @ 10am. but it was really fun. The guy @ maid rite even gave us free ice cream since we made a special trip!
We also stopped @ Liberty Jail. It wasn't what I expected @ all but there was definitely a special spirit there. We were the only 3 people @ the jail so we had are own private tour.
Easter was great. Hillary came up & she helped me make rolls for dinner. The Easter bunny didn't forget us...he even left a trail from our beds to our baskets. I LOVE Easter!
Some other exciting news is that we have been looking to buy a house. Wow.....we have seen some doozies. But it is a fun exciting step in our life. We will let you know when we have landed one....in the mean time....keep us in your prayers.
Eat, Pray & Love!
We have been living on love for the last 6 years and are pretty good at it. London brings us more joy then we could have ever thought possible. This is our story, our journey and our life. Here's to more treats, more prayers, more adventures and lots more love!
