What a glorious reunion it must be......

Prophetic Passing

I imagine he's running to Marjorie now,
Yes, running, not waving his cane.
I see him embracing his father and mother
While they keep repeating his name.

I see him now meeting his forebears,
Brother Brigham and Joseph are there.
Sweet reunion of prophets, united by service
That only such noble men share.

I see him embraced by the Savior
While Father says, "Good and well done.
So faithful in stalwart endurance, I welcome
My noble, most excellent son."

I then hear the ripples of laughter
As he says the reception's just fine,
But he hopes that he'll get an assignment or two
Since there's no need to waste any time.

I can hear his clear voice in the stillness
At the close of this sweet Sabbath day,
Have faith and move forward — there's work to be done.
President Hinckley would want it that way.

I’m a cheat….but it was SO necessary!

II finally decided to jump on the twilight train & let me tell you I have enjoyed the ride (kind of) I LOVED Twilight and couldn’t put it down! I finished it on Friday night and borrowed New Moon from my mother-in-law on Saturday evening. I started reading and got tired. Sunday after church I continued reading and got really upset about what I was reading. I couldn’t believe it. So I just shut the book and went to sleep…..MAD! Today and work I begged the girls to tell me what I needed (wanted) to know. They wouldn’t! So, I did what I had to do and went to Stephenie’s website http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/ & did a little snooping around. I think that I will finish New Moon and Eclipse. I am such a loser! I just couldn’t handle the suspense. As for the movie that is in production (thank goodness) I am having a hard time loving the Edward they cast. Really? It’s just not what I had pictured. I do however think the Bella is perfect. Can we please have a girl’s night out the night it is released? I can’t wait!!!!!!

Jordan & I haven’t really been up to much. I discovered Paradise Bakery and LOVE their roasted tomato soup! Yummy! That’s about how exciting our life get’s without kids! I really need to post some pictures from Christmas & New Years. Jordan made is families African curry and everyone tried it and LOVED it. My parents had 30 people over it was so good to see everyone! Both holidays were really fun with lots of Wii tournaments. My next Wii game purchase will be Wii Olympics! I plan on being an Olympic champion…..Soon! Jordan is keeping really busy with Elders Quorum & basketball. I am still enjoying being calling free, although, Jordan tells me that is only going to last a few more weeks!!!!! We are planning on taking a few weekend trips in the next few months to St. George & Moab. Should be fun! We will also be heading to California as soon as Stefanie has little Avenlie Mae! Plus we miss our little man Landon and need to see him too! Congrats to my friends Crystal & Amy who both and baby boy’s last week! Everyone around me is going kid crazy! Sorry guys……we aren’t going to join you but we are sure glad we will have LOTS of babysitters for our kids one day. Ha ha! I promise to post pictures soon!

Grandpa Durnford

My favorite Grandpa passed away on Monday morning. I am so grateful that I was able to spend time with him last week. He really was the best Grandpa and I always looked forward to seeing him and hearing him call me "RED". I will miss him dearly and am already awaiting the day I get to see him again. I am grateful for all of the wonderful memories that I have with him and for all that he did for me growing up. My Grandpa wrote the best letters, always had a beautiful garden, he had an amazing talent to keep his life organized and his cars looking brand new. He loved to spoil us and would often leave money under our pillows if our room was clean. He took us to In-N-Out countless times, took us on vacations and always had a joke for us. He gave great hugs and wet kisses! What awonderful, caring man. We found this picture of my Grandpa in the service the other day. I LOVE it. I will never forget you Grandpa. I love you! Rest In Peace Papa.
