Feeling Blessed

We have so many things in our life to be grateful for right now. Lately, I have really seen the Lord’s blessing literally be poured into our hands. It is almost overwhelming. Jordan & I were asked to house sit for a couple in our ward while they serve a mission for our church. This is the biggest blessing & compliment I think that we have received thus far. We will be moving into their home at the end of this month. I am also grateful that I have a good job in this time of uncertainty. I am blessed to work for one of the best banks in the country and have job security. I chose not to go to college, all more the reason to feel blessed right now with the job that I have. This past month we have been able to be with family pretty much every weekend. My parents, sister Melanie & nephew Landon came to visit over Father’s day weekend. Stef & Chris came up over the 4th of July. We loved having them around. They have beautiful children who we adore. We also have had my family from VA in town for the last two weeks. What a blast we have had with them. We had a family reunion in Truckee, CA last weekend. It was so fun. We played in the lake all day, ate some good food, had great company & got to know each other a little better. We also had the opportunity to go & tour Welfare Square, The Humanitarian Center & Temple Square. I am so grateful that I get to live in such a great city that offers up so many resources to its church members and members of other congregations. I had never been to Welfare Square or the Humanitarian Center before…I loved it. I always knew that the church did a lot but seeing it in action was very humbling for me. It made me want to be a better person, serve more, give more, love more & rededicate myself to this wonderful cause. I am grateful that we live so close to the SLC temple. Sometimes it really takes my breath away as we drive by. It is so beautiful & I love knowing that I had ancestors that were there while it was being built. I am grateful for our friends, our freedom, our health, our family & I could really go on for a while. I will post pictures when I have some more patience!!!!!!
