My McWeekend

So, as you can see our Saturday was full of excitement! Earlier last week our friend Russell called and invited us to go out to the races in Toole. I immediately declined, because I had no idea what it would be like. However, at work on Thursday I was listening to the radio and heard that Patrick Dempsey would be racing at the Grand Prix in Toole, Utah. I called Jordan to tell him that I changed my mind and that we were going. I then called Russell to tell him that we were coming. Saturday came and we arrived at the race. I had no idea what to expect but it was really fun. We were greeted by Russell's cousin who works at the sports park with our V.I.P passes. Now, I don't think that I could ever go to a race again without the VIP pass! The pass got us into a suite where there was a buffet lunch followed by a buffet dinner! Nice. We also go a track pass to ride the go karts. Not like the trafalga go karts, like real fast ones. As we were waiting in line to ride Hillary said to me "I really feel like I am missing out on something over there" just then McDreamy pulls up in his golf cart to ride on the same track we were! We immediately called Stefanie and Hillary tried to explain her excitement to Stefanie. Of course at that moment I didn't have the camera. Well we all got on the track and as we were leaving McDreamy was coming by again in his golf cart and Hillary then waved her hand and said "Patrick, Patrick, can we please get a picture with you? He said yes, and there you go! We got pictures and then walked down to where his pit crew was. We hung out there for a while and Hillary chatted it up with one of his Pitt crew members for like 1/2 hour. All in all it was a really GREAT Saturday!
P.S. I loved the race and being at the race track. The cars were pretty cool too!

NASTY

Today when I got home Jordan & I went to look at our lovely garden! I stepped onto the grass and apparently stepped on a praying mantis! YUCK! Lets just say it was on my foot. At first I thought a bird just pooped on me so, Jordan was telling me to shake it off. Well, it wouldn't come off! I immediately told him to get the hose and wash it off of me. The praying mantis was flopping around trying to stay alive.....Jordan put it out of his misery. This is what they look like.............
