Best Thanksgiving in 10 years....

Seriously...I haven't spent Thanksgiving with my family in 10 years! Crazy I know!! My parents, Grandma & Aunt Suzy came up. We had a great time. My in-laws were so kind to have my family along with theirs on Thanksgiving. We had a HUGE feast. I couldn't have asked for a better time. It was so fun to have my parents finally see our home!! I only wish that Mel, Stef & her family could have been with us!

On Wednesday night we had soup & pannins. Thursday we hung around the house in the morning before going to the Peine's to EAT. Friday we all went to Bruges Waffles & Frites, then to Tony Caputo's. We went to a Jazz game, moochies, Ikea & Chungas! Sunday we had dinner w/Louise ( my fabulous MIL) then we all went to Temple Square to check out the light display.

It was truly a lovely weekend I am telling you!!! Thanks for coming family! We can't wait until you come again!!

My parents & Stef & Chris bought a party boat. We took it to Lake Moabi the first of October. We went with the Reichmann's, Buckley's & some other family's in my parents ward. We had SO much fun! It was a great way to end our fun, fun summer. We all wake boarded, jumped off the rope swing (even my Dad), went to Lake Havasu, played games, ate yummy dutch oven food & had lots of late night around the fire! We can't wait for next year!! Thanks Mom & Dad for renting us a trailer so we didn't have to sleep on the ground!! You're too good to us! xoxox

Halloween

We had such a great Halloween! Stef, Chris, Landon, Avie & Hillary all came up for the week. We played all week, the girls did face masked, shopped, ate good food. The boys went four-wheeling, worked on the house (thank you) & of course we took the kids trick-or-treating! First we took them to our ward trunk or treat, then they came into my work to trick or treat It was SO fun! Then on Halloween night we went up to Jordan's parents neighborhood where they scored in the candy department. Jordan's parents made us dinner & we hung out there & let the kids unwind. The firefighters were handing out candy on 9th & 9th...since Landon was dressed up as a fireman we stopped. They were SO nice to him! Landon was shy...but we know he secretly loved it!
