Happy Holidays!

We have been so busy! It’s crazy. Jordan was called to be Elder’s Quorum President in November. It’s keeping him very busy and he is starting to really enjoy it. It’s been a little different staying in town every weekend but we are also starting to enjoy getting to know a lot more people in our ward. Me- well right now I am calling free and OK with it because I have a bit of a habit of booking us for 20 different events every week. It keeps us very busy.

We spent Thanksgiving up at Sundance with Jordan’s family and had a good time. My Grandpa was put on hospice Thanksgiving Day so that put a bit of a damper on the day but I am grateful that I have such a great, supportive & patient husband to hold me when I am upset. I love my Grandpa with all my heart and will miss him dearly. I am also very grateful that I understand the plan of salvation and know that I will see him again. It’s now just a waiting game until he passes on. I will be relieved for him when he passes and is able to have his “working body” back.

We have been enjoying many Christmas parties this past month. Visiting with old friends and eating great food is my idea of a great time. Last night we got together with a bunch of people from my old ward in Orem and hung out and reminisced about old & new times. I love the fact that I won’t see some of these people for another year and we can still pick up where we left off. Thanks Devry for throwing a fabulous party! I am so grateful to have such great friends!

Jordan, Hillary & I head out to California on Friday! We couldn’t be more excited to have a west coast Christmas! We are flying in Friday night and heading straight to In-N-Out (this is just a standing tradition with my Dad) then we are staying in Anaheim for the night because we are going to Disneyland on Saturday!!!!! It will be Landon’s (my nephew) first time. I think that my parents are more excited than any of us to go & take their grandson. Then we are headed up to the desert for Christmas. Jordan & my Dad are making African Curry for Christmas Eve dinner and I am making cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning. Any of you California people are invited over to the Tucker’s for food on Christmas Eve! We are going to be spending the entire week in California and I am so excited!!!!!! We haven’t been home for almost a year! It will be nice to be with my family & to go see my Grandparetns. I have a feeling there will be a lot of Wii competitions, food, friends and fun @ the Tucker's! Saturday after Christmas we fly to Vegas to go to St. George with our friends. This is a tradition that we started a few years ago. We are so lucky to have such great friends!!!!!!! I really feel so blessed.

Sorry for the lack of updates! I will be better. I will post some pictures when we have time. Probably in California! We also apologize for the non-existent Christmas cards. Thank you to everyone who has sent us a card & picture of your adorable growing families! We love them!

We wish all of you a Very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Love,

Jordan & Kimberly

Wow, you have been busy!! This is the best time of the year, isn't it?! Visiting old friends, families and continuing Christmas traditions. I love it too!

Sorry about your Grandpa. We just started hospice for my Grandma yesterday so I understand your sorrow. It's hard to let them go, but thank goodness for an understanding of the Plan.

You mentioned CA... and the desert... I grew up in the desert, where will you be?? Enjoy your time there: Disneyland and In-n-Out-- it sounds like you've got things covered! :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Merry Christmas Kim and Jordan! As always it was delightful to see you both this week! I hope you have the best time ever in CA. Please give my love to all the Tucker clan.

I'm so pleased about an update from you finally. Let's get together as soon as you are back from all the fun and frivolity.

Be sure to tell your whole family hello!! Michael and I (and the girls) will be driving through Utah in January. Maybe on our trip back we can meet up for dinner or something. It'd be great to see you and meet your hubby! We'll plan something. Oh, and sorry for no Christmas card from us this year, I was overly lazy. I posted it on my blog though :). Happy Holidays Kim!
